Chile delivers a good performance and ranks to 7th position among resource and efficiency-driven economies on the Connectivity Scorecard 2013 index. With a score of 5.34, it continues to outperform Latin American peer Mexico (4.10), Argentina (4.50) and Brazil (4.83).
Chile’s performance in both consumer usage and skills, and business usage and skills components is not as strong as its infrastructure would suggest. This indicates a strong need for efficient utilization of resources.
